Invitation-only, intentionally small. We cap membership at 5,000. We believe the quality of the community and discussion depends on not optimising for scale.
No recommendation algorithm. We believe algorithmic recommendation is antithetical to how great films are actually discovered. See our manifesto.
Human curation, human writing. Every film in the library has a curator's note written by a human critic. We don't generate this content with AI.
Film Circles. Small discussion groups of 8–12 members watching and discussing one film over two weeks. Currently 340+ active circles.
